SSC CHSL Tier 2 Revised Exam Structure

Section 1:

●   Module-I: Mathematical Abilities

●   Focuses on basic mathematical skills, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

●   Module-II: Reasoning and General Intelligence

●   Includes both verbal and non-verbal reasoning to test logical and analytical skills.

Section 2:

●   Module-I: English Language and Comprehension

●   Tests proficiency in English through vocabulary, grammar, and comprehension.

●   Module-II: General Awareness

●   Covers a wide range of topics including history, geography, current affairs, and scientific research.

Section 3:

●   Module-I: Computer Knowledge Test

●   Assesses basic knowledge of computer systems, software, internet usage, and cybersecurity.

●   Module-II: Skill Test/ Typing Test

●   Tests typing speed and accuracy for relevant posts like DEO and LDC.

  • Session-1 covers Section-1, Section-2, and Module-I of Section-3.
  • Session-2 is for Module-II of Section-3, which includes the Skill Test/ Typing Test.
  • All questions in Tier 2, except the skill/typing test, are objective and multiple-choice based.
  • The questions are available in both English and Hindi, except for the English Language module.
  • There is a penalty of 1 mark for every incorrect answer in Section-1, Section-2, and Module-I of Section-3.
